What can you expect?
- Setup and maintenance of the cloud-based infrastructure
- Regular performance of security monitoring and identification of faults
- Carrying out data backups and restoring data if necessary
- Supporting other departments and management in IT issues
- Solving problems independently and in collaboration with the respective teams
What should you bring to the table?
- Apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system administration or comparable qualification in the IT sector
- At least 3 years of experience with system administration in the Linux environment (Debian and/or CentOS)
- Confident handling of command-line and Bash
- Good knowledge of LAMP, LNMP
- Experience with load balancing e.g. HAProxy, keepalived
- Understanding of network configuration with Linux and IP routing
- Experience with HAS (High Availability Systems)
- Experience with MySQL databases/clusters
- Experience with IT monitoring (DataDog, Zabbix, Nagios etc.)
- Ability to work in a team, service-orientation and ability to work independently
- Fluency in written and spoken English
An advantage, but not a must
- Experience with ProxySQL
- Experience with automation/configuration management (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Team City, Jenkins, Bitbucket etc.)
- Understanding of infrastructure as code/programming paradigm
